2 Corinthians 9:11-15
11You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. 12This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of God’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. 13Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that...

First Earthquake Victim Sponsored
16 year old Grayson Sperry is on his first trip to Haiti. He went down with his dad, Jeff, to deliver aid and medical supplies to help the Jerusalem Baptist Church deal with the influx of earthquake victims into the community. On his first day, he went to volunteer down at the clinic (see his first day impressions posted below). He met a 2 month old baby girl whose mother had been killed in the...
Earthquake Relief Update
The church leaders are meeting twice a week to share information and distribute aid. All the refugees are being welcomed and treated free of charge at the clinic. We spent $3,000.00 on antibiotics here and sent them in a duffle bag and they have bought supplies in the Dominican Republic and Cap Haitien. They know they are just at the beginning of this crisis in terms of what the displaced people...

"Real and Faithful Friends" - Update from Pastor...
No problems at the border. The relief team told me when customs asked them what was in the bags, they just said “for Haiti” and they let them go. The same thing at the Haitian border. We have about 700 earthquake survivors in Fort Liberte asking to be helped. Our supervisors are doing a pretty good job identifying those in greater needs. Thank you for helping how you are doing. ...

The church was packed as for a MISSION SUNDAY. Right after the service (9:30 PM) the church board met to discuss about what we must continue to do. 3 of the 6 Supervisors presented their reports on the problems that we are...

Panic! - Update #7 from Pastor Andre
Dear friends,
This morning again, there was great panic in Haiti, mainly in Port au Prince, Cap-Haïtien, and Leogane. An earthquake ( or retort) of 6.1 has destroyed already damaged houses and forced more people to leave Port au Prince.

Update #5 from Pastor Andre
Dear friends,
Three buses from Fort-Liberte already made three trips each to bring back the children and young people who are living or attending school in Port-au-Prince. They will make another trip (not the last) this evening, for according to the drivers there are still a lot waiting to be taken back. The church is contributing with gazoline.

Update #3 from Pastor Andre
Hello,
As you know, Port au Prince is located in the West and we are living in the North East. We are almost opposite. We did not suffer from the earthquake, except that the earth was shaking terribly during many seconds and many times here in Fort-Liberte. Lots of people left their home to stay on the streets waiting for what was going to happen. Praise be to the Lord, the rest of the...

Update #2 from Pastor Andre - "How To Help"
Hello,
As to now there is no special requests a part from struggling to save some lives. But I am sure that later on they will need medical supplies and medicines, food and water, building materials and labors, etc. So, I think one of the best ways to contibute will be to provide money to help buy what is the most needed.

Hi Dear Friends,
It is terrible in Port au Prince, many important buildings have been severely damages. I got the news from CNN, for, there is no communication between the towns of Haiiti. In the North and North East, we have felt some strong shocks but no casualties. Right now there were 3 little ones. Pray for us.
